Station Rotterdam Central
Benthem Crouwel Architects + MVSA + West 8
- Outline
- Based on the idea of "a plaza rather than a closed terminal building," the north side is a transparent hall in harmony with a 19th century regional city, and the south side is a gateway to the city center, smoothly connecting it to the surrounding city. A continuous public realm was realized by undergrounding the parking and bicycle parking areas and relocating the streetcar station.
