Superkilen

Outline
An urban park designed for multicultural coexistence and resident exchange. More than 100 objects collected from 60 cultures around the world are scattered throughout the park through a "thorough resident participation" approach. The bicycle path through the park forms part of Copenhagen's green cycle route and functions as a space for pedestrians and cyclists to coexist. An attempt to transform cultural differences into a source of cohesion rather than division, with the aim of revitalizing a neighborhood plagued by social problems and crime rates.
