- The designer was selected as the design supervisor for the "Nobeoka Station Area Improvement Project" in 2011, following a proposal process in which no concrete form was provided. studio-L participated in the dialogue with the public, established a branch office in the local community, and worked with transportation operators and experts while involving the local community. After a series of detailed urban planning adjustments, a complex facility was planned to be built over the existing station building. The RC frame, which follows the span of the existing station building, has a cross section that creates a sense of intimate distance, making the activities of the citizens visible.
