London Aquatics Centre
Zaha Hadid
- Outline
- The London 2012 Olympic Games Swimming Stadium was designed with "sustainability" and "legacy" in mind. It has a kinematic corrugated roof inspired by the fluid geometry of water, 51% recycled aggregate, reusable wastewater, and reduced CO2 emissions from transportation of construction materials. The lower right photo shows the interior view during the Olympic Games.
