- A joint project between T_ADS and Obayashi Corporation's Design Department, organized mainly by the Obuchi Laboratory of the University of Tokyo. Experiments on a construction method in which a structure assembled in a plane is lifted up and naturally solidified into a three-dimensional curved surface by gravity alone. The structure is based on a tensegrity structure consisting of compression members made of inflated metal plates connected by double cables. The structural performance and assembly method were examined through digital and model verification.
