- Outline
- Amazon's new headquarters, which has grown in the heart of Seattle, spans three city blocks of the existing metropolitan network and consists of buildings, plazas, and open spaces open to the public. The Spheres was designed as a gathering place for employees to meet, work, and eat. Consisting of three overlapping steel domes covered with approximately 2,600 panes of glass, the three glass spheres encompass a multi-level botanical garden filled with 40,000 plants from the high altitude cloud forests of the five continents.
