- A garden with a detailed design of forest trees and a small pond arrangement. In a former rice paddy meadow, 318 trees were transplanted from a neighboring forest where an accommodation facility was to be built. Water is drawn from a sluice gate, a remnant of the rice paddies, to fill 160 randomly placed ponds. The ground surface is flat and covered with moss. Buried in the ground are drainage pipes that connect the ponds to the river, a waterproof layer to protect deciduous trees that cannot coexist in close proximity to water, and steel foundations to allow the trees to stand on their own without support pillars. This is an attempt to plan a garden architecturally.
