Barberi Space

Outline
The architect's own office with minimal intervention in a former foundry built at the beginning of the 20th century. New materials such as glass and steel contrast with the original wood, stone, and brick. The building consists of three wings surrounding a courtyard, with a library, exhibition and projection rooms, and workshops inside. The designers established the RCR Bunka Foundation in 2013 and operate the RCR Lab・A laboratory from this base. Every summer, they hold workshops with people from all over the world and continue to provide a place for co-creation based in Olot.
