Lanvin Boutique Ginza

Outline
The building was designed to be a warm residence (maison) for a brand that is based on the love of family, and a porous facade was adopted to provide a glimpse of the first floor sales floor. The facade was made by inserting cooled acrylic into a steel plate with numerous openings of about 50 mm. This was done in collaboration with Takahashi Kogyo, a shipbuilding company. The front and back sides are flat, creating a warm interior space that allows sunlight to enter.
