RISE

Outline
A cinema building in Shibuya, with an exterior that looks as if it were covered with die-cast aluminum drapes. The designer found a kind of fiction in a city that was continuously transforming into chaos without a moment to catch his breath. The complex material setting and planning of the building expresses the interior of Shibuya by accumulating fragments of the city within a three-dimensional structure and constructing it as architecture.
