Teacher Training College
Vann Molyvann
- Outline
- The university facility consists of a four-story central building, a two-story education and research building, and a circular library building. An aerial walkway extending from the main gate connects the central building, education and research building, and library at the second floor level, with a shaded corridor in the lower part. The double roof of the central building, with its hexagonal cross section, is a miniaturized version of a traditional gable roof, which combines the design features of a flat roof with the ease of rainwater flow, and allows natural ventilation by allowing wind to blow between the roof and the gable. This is the culmination of Molyvann's various innovations to cope with the tropical climate.
