House I – House X
Peter Eisenman
- Outline
- The "Residences" series from No. 1 to No. 10 by Eisenman, which pushed the abstract manipulation of architectural form. Spaces were attempted to be transformed into an architectural language that could be described and recombined. In order to study its structure, drawings including axonometrics were made and some were actually constructed. Of the houses 1, 2, 3, and 6 that were constructed, the photograph shows house 1 (1968). The drawing is of House No. 10 (1975-78).
