- This is one of the "reflective dwellings" that symbolize Hara's activities in the 1970s, reflecting elements of the city and nature in their interior spaces. This was the inspiration for the phrase "burying the city in the dwelling" in Hara's book. The exterior has a simple form, and the interior is symmetrically structured around an "inner core" with a skylight. Light is brought into each room from the inner core through the interior curved top light (second roof).
