- The museum is located in a lush green site by the sea. The museum is composed of several low-rise exhibition buildings connected by corridors, which were originally private residences that have been expanded three times. Through the openings in various parts of the building, the view of the courtyard and the sea always comes into view. Modern architectural techniques are well integrated with the local characteristics of Danish stucco and wooden structures.
