Parroquia de la Medalla Milagrosa
Félix Candela
- Outline
- This church in Mexico City was designed by Candela, who pursued a hyperbolic paraboloid (HP shell) structure. The structure created by a series of HP shells gives the impression of a cave, and the light coming through the stained glass windows creates a space rich in light and dark.
