General Panel System
Konrad Wachsmann + Walter Gropius
- Outline
- The industrialization of housing by Gropius was envisioned from the planning documents of 1910, including sales. After emigrating to the U.S., Gropius and Waxman collaborated to develop a packaged house based on Waxman's panel-joining system, and started the General Panel Company to manufacture and market the product.
