- This is an experiment in architectural language by Melnikov. The volume is a combination of two cylinders covered by a large number of hexagonal windows. It occupies a very specific position in Russian Constructivism, which has its own architectural language. He followed this up with a number of projects in which the number of cylinders was further increased.
