Ville contemporaine de trois millions d’habitants
Le Corbusier
- Outline
- A central railroad station, an airfield and a square at the intersection of highways. 24 cross-shaped planes of skyscrapers. The residential complexes are uneven and enclosed. Parks and streets weave in and out of these, leading through green belts to the countryside at the outer edge. The geometric iconography of the plan stands out, a tapestry of the city of the future laid out in Tabula Rasa, which was transplanted to Paris three years later to become the Voisin Project.
