- The project was realized through a revitalization proposal (2020) for the existing building (Kasumigaura Fureai Land Water Science Museum) and the lakeside area. The two new buildings, the winding walkway running three-dimensionally through the natural environment and the soaring reception building, create a new environmental order for the site. In response, the old facility with its arched roof and boxy form was extensively demolished, renovated, and extended.
