- Japan’s First Zero-Emission Data Center (ZED) Operated with 100% Continuous Renewable Energy.* The project is designed around four key cycles: community, energy, materials, and biodiversity. It employs an indirect outside air cooling system to utilize ambient cool air for HVAC. The outdoor equipment area is enclosed within five seismic-resistant boxes, serving both the server rooms and office specifications. (*According to Kyocera Communication Systems: the first domestic data center initiative supporting 24/7 carbon-free power.)
