The Last Prefectural Art Museum to Be Built Among Japan’s 47 Prefectures, Developed Using the PFI System. Based on the concept of an “Open Art Museum,” the facility offers educational programs centered around art, primarily through the first-floor studio and Hiroma (open hall). The Hiroma faces the historical Ōmidō Temple Ruins Park, integrating the museum with its cultural and historical context.
