- Dome with tensegrity structure erected on the site of a restaurant near Lake Yamanaka. 2016, the joints of the pavilion created in Chile were brought back to Japan and relocated. The dome is elliptical in plan with a long side diameter of approximately 22 m. It consists of three tiers of aluminum poles in the air that are subjected to compressive forces. The height of the top of the dome is approximately 5.3 m. The dome was constructed mainly by students on their own initiative, with approximately 20 people working on it every day for a construction period of approximately three weeks.
