- Renovation of an office building for the All Nippon Seamen's Union (completed in 1964; Shinkenchiku 6405 issue), which Masato Otaka worked on immediately after becoming independent from Maekawa Kunio Architects. A sunken garden is continuous with the exterior. The office building was updated to a modern indoor thermal environment.
