MUJI HOUSE

Outline: The SE construction method was adopted, and the wood of the main structure was made visible by designing a flame allowance (35 mm). The post-and-beam members and joint hardware are standardized mainly for wooden houses. In this project, two columns (180 x 360 mm) and two beams (180 x 500 mm) were stacked according to these standards to realize a store with a 6 m grid and a total floor area of over 2,000 m2.
