Outline: This is a rental apartment house with a commons for Hokkaido University students in Sapporo, Hokkaido. In order to maximize the benefits of living with the same generation, we focused on the commons as an object of profit, and created a lounge, study room, and laundry, and a structure that allows selective use of spaces with different layers of "private/public". The "private/communal" spaces are selectively usable.
