Outline: Kawata Construction's new building in front of Mishima Station, Shizuoka Prefecture. The new building was created as part of a plan to decentralize headquarters functions throughout the city after the Corona disaster. The new building was conceived as an office building that would serve as a gateway to the community, attracting companies and people from outside the area, in contrast to the "Machinaka Office," which utilizes vacant properties in the city center. the curves of the two slabs shift, changing the connection between the inside and outside of the building.
