The Minoh Campus relocation project commemorates the 90th anniversary of Osaka University and the 100th anniversary of Osaka University of Foreign Studies. By integrating all of the earthquake-resistant elements into the outframe, only steel columns are used in the interior, realizing a structural framework with no earthquake-resistant walls. The depth of the flat outframe serves as an eave, reducing the solar load while allowing in moderate illumination.
