THE ART PROJECT IN YAHIKO VILLAGE 59FU

Outline
This art project was initiated by a locally based company to bring art thinking into the company. The direction team commissioned Aya Oshima to develop the project content, and the project was undertaken on a 13,400 m2 site owned by the company. In addition to Hideki Okada, a local architect who had already begun renovating an old house on the site, Shinji Kamijo, who was making proposals for the entire community from a landscape perspective, and Maki Sakai, an architect, participated in the overall conceptualization and design, crossing the boundaries of their respective fields. The entire site was named "59FU" and a master plan was created. At this point, the café, terrace, and Sasa garden have been completed.
