- An old private house in a traditional building preservation district in Ine-cho, Kyoto Prefecture, was renovated as a facility for cultural promotion and multi-generational exchange. The restored and preserved main house serves as the entrance and a hub of interaction, while the library, which is to be relocated from the town hall, has been added to the rear of the site. Considering the scale of the entire village, we aimed to create a prototype for the renewal of the town.
