Outline: Reconstruction of a hot-spring bath facility that was partially destroyed by lightning in August 2021. Since the remaining bath building and machine room were used for temporary operations, it was difficult to remove the existing foundation and piles, considering the use of pipes in the existing underground pit and the impact on the ground. Therefore, the existing foundations were left in place as if they were abandoned concrete, and the building was constructed as a one-story wooden structure that can be supported only by the underlying ground.
