- Outline
- A relocation and improvement plan for the aging Hiroshima Minami Police Station; a public proposal was conducted in 2019 and Ohata Rengo Architects & Engineers and Yutaka Yoshida Architects were selected. Located along a major road, the site was required to be a public safety center that would contribute to improving the convenience of local residents, and an attractive public building that took into consideration the surrounding educational facilities and residential areas, as well as the former Hiroshima Army Clothing Depot, an A-bombed building that stands in a row to the south of the site.
