- The new building is a wooden rigid-frame structure on the campus of Nanyang Technological University. The building was awarded the highest GREENMARK (PLATINUM) (ZERO ENERGY) rating by the Building and Construction Authority of Singapore. The building is constructed of spruce laminated wood for the columns and large beams, and CLT for the floor, which also serves as a small beam. 90-minute fire-resistant structure. Reinforced concrete evacuation stair core takes lateral forces.
