STUDIO YUJIHARADA

Outline: This project utilizes an elementary school that was closed in 2015 in the Futamado district of Chukai-cho, Takehara City, Hiroshima Prefecture, an old fishing village facing the Seto Inland Sea. Workshops were held with local residents and students to renovate the building, taking advantage of the culture of craftsmanship that remains in the community.
