A children's school built in the suburbs of niigata city. the beams are made of two types of lumber: an inverted triangular valley truss at the ridge line and a triangular mountain truss placed diagonally across the ridge line. the flooring, walls, louvers, and plywood used to finish the trusses are all made of locally grown japanese cedar.
