Outline: Yuriage wakaba kindergarten, which was the only kindergarten in the yuriage area, was rebuilt in 2014 as mitazono wakaba kindergarten (1406 in this issue) in mitazono area on the assumption that it would eventually return to yuriage area after being damaged by the great east japan earthquake. the kindergarten returned to the yuriage area as a "children's kindergarten. because it was assumed that the kindergarten would be relocated, mitazono wakaba kindergarten was reconstructed as a wooden structure, with some new parts added as the hall building of the kindergarten. the eccentric bracing of the perimeter corridor supports the tensile forces of the membrane roof.
