- Refurbishment plan for a 51-year-old, 9-story house built under the old earthquake-proof standard. walls and facilities that do not affect earthquake resistance were removed and weight was reduced by refinishing the building. furthermore, the existing frame was reused 84% with seismic reinforcement, resulting in a 72% reduction in co2 emissions from the production of building materials. the exterior of the building utilizes the existing structure and maintains the landscape of the existing garden.
