A two-story wooden office building in sapporo, hokkaido. ezo spruce, a species native to hokkaido, was used as the structural material. high sidelights were placed on the northeast and southwest sides of the building to provide stable sunlight in an environment surrounded by houses. the raised roof is composed of hyperbolic paraboloidal surfaces made of small-diameter timbers.
