A 12-story mid-rise commercial building facing chuo-dori avenue in ginza, a hybrid of wood and steel construction. the building has a tower ratio of over 6, and a combination of wood and steel frame frame framing, vibration control walls, and viscous dampers were used to ensure livability and earthquake resistance. the building is a two-hour fire-resistant structure with fire-resistant glued laminated wood "nenwood®" used for the columns and beams.
