ROAD STATION TANOHATA SHIINOKAZE

A roadside station in tanohata village, iwate prefecture. the roadside station, which had been operating as a temporary store after being damaged by the tsunami caused by the great east japan earthquake, was relocated and improved together with the adjacent grass plaza and "shisosokan". the roof, which references the hip-folded roofs found in this region, is a truss structure made of red pine and bay pine lumber of different heights and spans, with a curved surface.
