- This is a five-story city hall with a hybrid structure consisting of a fire-resistant wooden structure made of large section laminated wood from Japanese cedar in the center of the building and a reinforced concrete core on both sides to bear seismic forces. All structural members are made of lumber produced in Nagato City.
