Outline: Flats Toyo" (2008), a dormitory for single people built with reinforced concrete and steel pillars, was built on the adjacent site, and this project is a flagship building for urban wooden architecture using reinforced concrete and wooden pillars. The two buildings stand side by side under the theme of "from inorganic to organic," expressing the way in which buildings are becoming more organic and woody in the urban landscape.
