- Reconstruction of the Tokyo Kaikan (completed in 1971), the Tokyo Chamber of Commerce and Industry Building (completed in 1960) and the Fuji Building (completed in 1962), all of which face the Imperial Palace. The functions of the three buildings, which existed separately, were planed and stacked. Each function has its own entrance to the surrounding streets. Long-established decorations and interiors are preserved and reproduced. Strengthen the underground network in the Marunouchi area.
