UWA RICE MUSEUM LOCA ACTIVATION PROJECT

Outline
This project is to utilize a wooden school building, which was built in 1928 as Uwamachi Elementary School and later moved to a hill northeast of the original site in 1990, as a museum to introduce the history of rice production. In this project, while maintaining the function of a museum, some of the exhibition rooms are replaced with incubation facilities, rental offices, and a children's playground, and the designer manages the facilities himself. The project aims to promote migration and settlement in Nishiyo City and revitalize the region.
