NAKANOSHIMA FESTIVAL TOWER WEST

Outline
Following the completion of the Nakanoshima Festival Tower (1301) in Nakanoshima, Osaka, the Nakanoshima Festival Tower is a high-rise building complex that houses a multipurpose hall (284 seats), an art museum (scheduled to open in 2018), offices, and a hotel. The building is directly connected to two train stations on the third basement floor, and an attempt is being made to create a lively above-ground area with the two towers. For this purpose, a 16-meter-high pilotis was built on the ground level of each tower.
