- This is the first phase of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's "Urban Renewal Step-up Project". The site of the former Toei Miyashita-cho Apartments was developed by a private developer on a 70-year fixed-term lease. The west side of the site faces Meiji-dori Avenue, which is the starting point of the old Shibuya River promenade. In accordance with the T-shape of the site, a 1,000m2 plaza and a through passage connecting the east and west sides were constructed on the west side. The sidewalks in the vicinity have also been redeveloped in conjunction with this project.
