- The former Higashikawa Elementary School was relocated and the remaining school buildings were converted into a cultural and artistic facility. Since it is located in the center of the town, a Japanese language school, a gallery, a community café, a hall, and other facilities have been established around the international exchange and events that the town has been conducting.
