This is a new construction plan for the only elementary school in the town of Yamatsuri, which is located in Higashishirakawa County, Fukushima Prefecture, and integrates five existing schools. The school building runs east-west from the national highway to the school ground, and is structured around the "Asahi-no-michi" that connects the town and the school. A multipurpose hall, a home economics room, a music room, a conference room, and a gymnasium are located on the first floor on the north side of the school building, making it an area open to the community, and making the school open to the town.
