Outline
This lodging facility, operated by a public interest incorporated association, is a place for learning that was renovated from the former Kuwahama Elementary School (closed in 2002) in the Kuwahama district of Ishinomaki City, Miyagi Prefecture. The 94-year-old pillars and walls were reused as much as possible to create a façade that retains the appearance of the elementary school.
