THE REED DOME

Outline
A temporary pavilion made entirely of reeds. As a new way to utilize reeds, which were once a valuable local industrial resource in Omi Hachiman, a space for exhibitions and exchanges was planned. The dome is formed by randomly constructing trusses on a cubic lattice-shaped arch made of reeds and continuously connecting them.
