This is an in-house vocational training facility of the Polus Group, which is mainly engaged in the construction of new detached houses for sale in Saitama, Chiba, and Tokyo. The company has newly developed a "laminated post, laminated beam, and laminated beam" system that makes it possible to construct members with the same diameter and performance as large cross-section laminated timber by assembling multiple pieces of generally available lumber. Two buildings, a training building and an office building, were constructed as models to promote the spread of non-residential wooden buildings and new construction methods.
